WHOLE CANE SUGAR

DESCRIPTION

Whole cane sugar is known by many different names in the world, the most important being un-refined muscovado, panela (latin america), jaggery (south asia) and kokuto (japan). It is extracted from sugar cane (Saccharum Officinarum) and retains its molasses content supplying natural occurring minerals. In that sense, it is the perfect substitute for refined sugars.
